1. POLICIES & TARGETS 2. PRODUCTS 3. OPERATIONS 4. REPORTS & FACT 2. PRODUCTS Our products and their life-cycle is our prime focus. We aim to promote a selected eco-range with innovative materials while at the same time ensuring that our range offer has a good environmental profile overall that builds on modern production methods and stringent supplier requirements. About 70% of all Duni’s products are paper-based and produced in-house. The premium range of napkins and table covers offers our customers a great combination of design, flexibility and the convenience of single use. We work hard to ensure that our products may also be used while keeping an environmental clear conscience. Reflecting this, we offer the world’s most extensive range of unicoloured compostable napkins and tablecoverings. All are OK Compost certified. Some key features of the products in our range are responsibly sourced (FSC®-certified) materials, which have a low carbon footprint as they are based on renewable forest fibres. Life-cycle assessments do not identify a significant difference in the environmental impact of Duni’s premium table top products vs. textile alternatives. Products manufactured using responsible, modern technology and responsibly chosen rawmaterial and chemicals may also carry the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Today, this can be found on a selection of our tissue napkins and candles. Find out more about eco-labeling and sorting of Duni products. ECOECHO® Our Duni ecoecho® range – is an eco-product assortment for serving and meal solutions products. It is the product of our commitment to be first in the market with stylish, sustainable products, which are some of the best – if the not the best – available. The range uses the best sustainable technologies and materials available- such as bagasse and rPET – in order to limit the use of non-renewable resources and reduce our CO2 footprint. To qualify as ecoecho®, a significant part of the product must live up to a high standard. It must meet at least two of these four environmental standards: resource efficiency, renewability, compostability and/or responsible sourcing. Reflecting this, the products are either compostable, renewable or made from recycled materials.
